Project Description: Lone Star Corporation’s primary objective of the project was the installation of two 4160V 4500HP mainline pumps on this grass roots facility including power and control wiring for all associated instrumentation, circuit breakers, transformers, 5kV VFD Building, MCC Control Building, Sump Tank equipment, 25HP and 100HP Sump Pumps, Scraper Traps and 20-480V Motor-Operated Valves. This project also included the installation of a 25kV overhead power distribution system to a 10MVA substation.

Project Description: Lone Star Corporation provided the instrumentation and electric construction as well as the instrumentation and controls design, site PLC programming, and start-up and commissioning for all instrumentation, controls and pumps. This project also included the power and control wiring for all associated instrumentation and power for two 60HP transfer pumps, site lighting, cable tray system, and main power distribution.
Barnhart Booster Station
Project Type: Gas Gathering and Compressor Station
Project Description: The primary objective of Lone Star Corporation on the Barnhart Booster Sation was the electrical design and installation for a natural gas gathering and field compression system with an overall capacity of 35 MMscfd. This project also included the power and control wiring for all associated instrumentation, circuit breakers, transformers, site control building, compressor cooling tower fans, and compressor PLC UPS systems.
Wolf Bone Station
Project Type: 24.9kV Distribution System
Project Description: Lone Star Corporation provided instrumentation and electric construction and design services for a 24.9kV Distribution System and the energization of the existing 2000kVA and 1000kVA transformers. This project also included the power and control wiring and design for all 24.9kV primary power distribution, installation of 24.9kV recloser and coordination settings programming of SEL-651 recloser relay.
Martin Gas Processing Plant & Yellow Rose Compressor Station
Project Type: Gas Processing Plant & Compressor Station
Project Description: The instrumentation and electric construction and design services for this grassroots facility were provided by Lone Star Corporation. A combined plant, gathering and field compression capacity of 40 MMscfd. The Martin Gas Plant included the power and control wiring for all associated instrumentation and power for the main cryogenic skid, dehydration beds, regen heater system, site lighting, transformers, site control building, two 5kV, 570kW generators, 5kV power distribution, and two onsite residue natural gas compressors. The Yellow Rose Compressor included the power and control wiring for all associated instrumentation, circuit breakers, transformers, site control building, compressor cooling tower fans, and compressor PLC UPS systems.

Project Type: Switch Rack and Control Panel
Project Description: For this project, Lone Star Corporations fabricated and assembled a turnkey switch rack that was fully tested and field ready. All of our services are performed in-house for the assembly of starter panels, PLC’s and UPS systems. We mount all of the equipment, conduit, power and control wiring and terminate the switch rack. All components are energized to full voltage, and programming and testing are completed in-house prior to being shipped to the field for final installation.
