Born and bred in West Texas, Ronnie has always had a love for all things “fast” and grew up racing in the streets and at the drag strip. In the early 90’s, he made the decision to take a break from his racing activities to focus on raising his family and building his career. In 2009, he founded Lone Star Corporation, which has grown into a trusted and respected single-source electrical contractor in the Permian Basin.

Today, team owner and driver Ronnie campaigns a Larry Jeffers Racing built 2017 Mustang GT350 in both Radial Vs The World (RVW) and Pro Mod races held across the United States. This record-setting Mustang previously held records in both RVW and PDRA classes and has clocked a 3.57 @ 214 mph on radials and 3.67 @ 218 mph on big tires. In 2020, Ronnie and his team will initially focus on RVW, and beginning in March will convert the Mustang back to Pro Mod to compete in the Mid-West Pro Mod Series.
